More About Dr. Varela

Charles Varela, MD is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with added certification in surgery of the hand practicing in Mountain View.  Dr. Varela opened Ozark Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery Center in 1996, after serving four years as a major in the US Army Medical Corps. In 2021 he joined White River Health System and continues to practice in the same location with a new clinic name. 

Dr. Varela's orthopaedic specialty areas include hand surgery, knee injuries, joint replacement, trauma surgery and foot surgery. He utilizes Stryker's Mako Robotic-Arm assisted technology for total knee replacement.
